How we work

The process isn't for the sake of order — it's what makes the product come out right

When there's no clear process, decisions land at the wrong stage. Design that starts before structure, content written after development, feedback that arrives once everything is already built. Every stage here exists to prevent exactly that.

Five stages, one clear direction

Each stage has its own deliverables and review point. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off. The full path usually takes 4–8 weeks, depending on scope and how quickly content and feedback come back.

  1. 01
    Week 1

    Understand the problem

We learn the business, the users, and the way the work happens today — what the product actually has to solve, not just what it should look like. Without this stage, every later decision rests on a guess.

    • Kickoff call notes
    • Problem and audience brief
    • Project scope and goals
  2. 02
    Week 1–2

    Define the right first release

We prioritise together: what has to be in version one, what can wait, and how someone moves from first visit to the action that matters. Skipping this is why products ship full of features nobody asked for.

    • Scope of the first release
    • User flows and key screens
    • What we're deliberately leaving out
  3. 03
    Week 2–3

    Design the experience

We design how it actually feels to use — the flow, the screens, and a visual language that fits the level of the business and its audience. Not a template, not a trend with a three-month shelf life.

    • Design direction board
    • Key screen designs
    • Component library preview
  4. 04
    Week 3–6

    Build and test

We build cleanly, accurately, and responsively, and we test as we go. Real content goes in during the build, never lorem ipsum at handoff.

    • A working preview environment
    • The full first release built
    • Integrations and automations in scope
  5. 05
    Week 6–8

    Launch and learn

We refine, test across devices and languages, fix the last details, and launch. Then we watch how people actually use it, and hand over everything you need to keep going.

    • Cross-browser and RTL QA
    • Performance and accessibility pass
    • Launch, handover, and what to watch next

One per stage — nothing moves forward without sign-off

We plan the structure and the systems before we build, so by the time we're coding, the hard decisions are already made — and you can see why each one was made.
